Deck Description

I haven't actually planned and built a deck in close to 12 years. After a long hiatus from the game, I'm really excited to get back into the thick of things. Problem is, I have hardly any standard cards, and little to know knowledge of the metagame of the current sets.

Basically, I just want a couple of decks that won't embarrass me at FNM, but also won't bankrupt me. Any input or suggestions are thus greatly appreciated. They will save me time and (especially) money.

I know W/R is the standard way to play heroic, but I wanted to find a way to make it work with my favorite color combo, Green/White. I've even seen a really powerful-looking U/W version, but the deck I end up with is going to be my own creation one way or another. If G/W Heroic just isn't viable, don't hesitate to tell me why.

That's my story!

(The sideboard is a work-in-progress, as is the deck itself)

How to Play

Play heroes.
Protect heroes (Ranger's Guile, Gods Willing, Shielded Passage).

Lots of changes. Not worth keeping track of anymore.
