My first MTG Deck. I have played maybe 7 games before I got my first deck, and this is it. It is based around artifact creatures working their abilities together with fire spells for damage and creature control, and white spells for defense and healing.
Every creature (that isn't a token) is an artifact creature. Iron Myrs give fire mana, Arcbound Stingers are artifacts on the field, as are great furnaces. Myr Enforcer becomes a great mid-cost creature because of affinity to artifacts. Myr Retriever is basically a shield, and recycling the arcbound stingers and hybrids means more +1/+1 markers to share with other creatures, or recycle Anodet Lurker for more health. Razor Golem is a beast, and with the affinity for plains it's not difficult to get out on the field (and that's also why there's no artifact white mana sources - just plains). Forgotten Caves to draw cards in a tight spot, and Ravaged Highlands just in case you need that last ditch healing spell that costs a white mana.Red spells are for creature control or direct damage, and help mitigate a weakness to flying creatures along with Peregrine Mask and Arcbound Stingers. Flame Wave and Dragon Roost pretty much depend on Iron Myrs, but can make a later game upset. There are basically two paths that can be taken, depending on the game situation - get Myr Enforcers and Razor Golems out and beef them up with +1/+1 tokens from the arcbounds, or fend them off until flame wave and/or Dragon Roost do the deed.
