It's a mix of control and devotion, I guess. I wanted to make a budget deck, which focused on value. By value I mean cards that can gain you card advantage. Feel free to leave any suggestions, advice is always appreciated! Please note that my budget decks have a 40$ limit, so y'all better not be suggesting thoughtseize.
Control the board in the early game and try to start taking over in the midgame. It's all about gaining value with your cards.

Is bloodghast or nether traitor budget enough? Maybe gatekeeper of malikir.

Nether traitor could fit in, but I feel like he wouldn't be a significant part of the deck for his $ cost, weakening the deck overall. Bloodghast isn't budget enough. Both cards make the deck more aggro aswell, which is not what I am trying to go for. I did consider gatekeeper of malakir, I'll just add him to the sideboard. Thanks for the advice!
How about Wight of Precinct Six?
Eh, he could get some nice value, but against certain decks he can be pretty bad. I would use him in a more aggressive deck or if I had more discard/put into graveyard cards. If there was a "maybeboard" I would definetely put him there, he can be excellent against creature heavy decks. Correct me if I'm wrong though, I'm quite new to Magic. Thanks for the suggestion.
You're right it works best against creature heavy decks.
