Deck Description

I came upon the Treefolk Harbinger card and I thought to myself: "Man that guy looks blazed as fuck". So I looked up some Treefolk cards on gatherer and this deck was born.

Mandatory "Blaze" in the sideboard.

Feel free to leave suggestions, but note that my budget decks have a 40$ limit.

How to Play

Get your 420 on by playing some Treefolk.

Cool concept, I myself love treefolk and am a huge fan of Doran, the Siege Tower. My only suggestion is adding 2 Woodfall Primus to the deck. They are good old fashion permanent removal, are treefolk, and are considerably cheap after getting a MM reprint fitting into your budget. He can be fetched out with Harbinger, made cheaper with the Banneret, and Prey upon can be fantastic with persist. Other than that looks great... keep blazin!!!

It definetely has the same hilariousness level as lignify. "Let me just turn your 5/5 demon into a fucking forest". Priceless.

Replace 4 Forest with Treetop Village! Imagine that, the poeple living there would be like head louses for your ents ... and Primal Bellow should be Might of Oaks, flavour wise.

Other than that, pretty boring deck, though^^

I know you're going for a theme here, but I just wanted to say that you're some some Treefolk I think is almost necessary in every Treefolk deck: Unstoppable Ash and Timber Protector.

That said, Reach of Branches could be cool in here too.

This deck was infected by the budget virus, so no Timber Protector.

Cool deck. I run saproling tokens in mine. Life and Limb + Dungrove Elder(or any */* treefolk) + Fungal Sprouting = */* double and army of chumps.

For flavor could add Mercy Killing. Treefolk, Saps, Elves

1

That would be cool, but the other double i use is Saproling Symbiosis. Originally I found life and limb to make a use of the mono green legendary treefolk that produce Saproling tokens. Mix that with timber protector and you have an indestructible army. Last piece, Spidersilk armor. Its slow, but fun to play.

Nice decklist for budget! Had a friend who used to play somewhat similar in Lorwyn Standard.
I'd suggest Heartwood Storytellerto get you a nice draw. I belive Timber Protector and Dauntless Dourbark are out for price purposes, but with a 40$ limit quite a cool deck!

you should drop the snake shamman for flavor

I dunno... You see, his flavor text fits here perfectly.

1

Exactly, it's the flavour text of the shaman that gives him a spot.

Blanchwood Armor ,Unstoppable Ash and Reach of the Branches could be interesting additions. Dauntless Dourbark is also an extremly huge blowout! Timber Protector is a really cool lord for treefolks.
