Orim's Chant should fit better than Silence because it's much better really :P

i would but i'm on a budget. thanks for the idea, though. it is a great card

Another card along the same lines as silence and chant that can also play well on an iso scepter is Abeyance.

Hi! I'm commenting on the decks posted on the "Advertise!" page. ( http://tinyurl.com/3blvgy6 ) Return the favor by commenting on any of my decks and/or the other advertised decks.

Since Luminarch Ascension is your win condition, I would replace the Adarkar Wastes with a UW land that doesn't deal you damage. Also, consider Into the Roil as a way to deal with onboard threats, including noncreatures.

I kinda of hate myself for even posting this suggestion but....isochron scepter with angel's grace...is just unfair. Especially because of the split second part.

i like it. how exactly does split second work?

While a spell with Split Second is on the stack, no player can play spells or activate abilities unless they're mana abilities. Pretty awesome!

There are some even nastier cards that pair with Isochron though...

Someone said Orim's Chant already, but Silence is similar enough for budget. I would run 4 Silences, for sure. Imprint it on Iso and play Silence during your opponent's upkeep every turn, YAY!

Remand, Boomerang, Brainstorm, Enlightened Tutor....

Check out my Isochron Control deck for some ideas! I'm sure you'll like it.

I think it's a pretty nasty combo. Unless your opponent is running a straight burn deck with lots of instants, forget about dealing lethal damage. And what he said is right. No spells or abilities other than mana abilities can be played while angels grace is on the stack. In other words it can't be countered, no instants can be played before it resolves, and you can't use a tap for damage effect before it resolves either.

I would take out a couple land, either basic or glaciel fortress, for 2 celestial colonnade

I really like this control deck. If you want (and have the money), you could add a couple of enlightend tutor because it can grab you both a wincondition and two very powerfull defensive cards. I would also make room for 4 ancestral visions.

add a couple brainstorm they are much better than impulse because you dont have to choose one card you get a better selecton and dont have to put good things on the bottom of your library.

i like it ... heres some suggestions impulse is really cool but brainstorm would be more effceint and wrath of god over day of judgement and maybe try to find room for path to exile or something along the lines like sword to plowshares an instant removal ya know hope i helped some

I love this. except, i would probablly add in something to negate any damage from something like a mono red burn deck. Maybe holy day or a cleric with (tap) prevent the next (x) damage or something like that.
