Don't let the creature count or colors fool you; this is a controlling deck that uses synergy to generate card and resource advantage while ensuring your opponents creatures are dead or left untapped. Of note is an engine consisting of Glissa and Heartless Summoning wherein Perilous Myr essentially becomes a free Shock spell that returns to your hand each time an opponents creature dies. The remaining artifact creatures interact similarly with the engine in place, with Liliana and removal spells ensuring Glissa triggers often and at will. Birthing Pod can be used solo or in conjunction with Heartless Summoning for ramping, with Glissa often returning the sacrificed creature to your hand to be recast in the same turn. Additionally, 8 two drops ensure there should typically be a creature to pitch to pod for a replacement Glissa, making it very difficult for your opponent to derail your engine or keep pace with your resource production once the elements are in place.

No Myr Superion? It's a free 4/5 with Heartless Summoning out.

He was in the build initially, but the creature count had to be trimmed and he got cut. Ultimately, this deck wants to win the long game with control instead of going the beatdown route. Thanks though.
