This deck is solely based off Niv-mizzet, the Firemind, my cuddly red-fish-blue-fish. The red in this deck are an illusion, this deck is actually blue heavy with a splash of green and white. The red situation is covered by city of brass, thawing glaciers, and rootbound crag, since you'll only be able to summon Niv-Mizzet on at least the sixth turn. Niv-Mizzet has a very unique ability that almost makes you question why they invented the card Curiosity. That's right, infinite combo, and the inevitable end of your opponent. The plan is to get your howlings mine out as top priority, then throw out sterling grove or island sanctuary. If you played sterling grove sac it for an island sanctuary or a mystic decree, or if you're feeling lucky, a curiosity. Once your completely protected you wait for Niv-Mizzet, or you can speed things up earlier on using a worldly tutor. Wheel of Sun and Moon is only a self-mill precaution just in case your opponent has an angel's mercy ready to counter. The deck is designed to completely protect you from creatures by turn five, four if you're lucky, and then to single out Niv-Mizzet using a worldly tutor. That's sixth turn at least. then lastly, on the seventh turn you place curiosity on Niv-Mizzet tap away.
