you could drop lands and actually throw in some counter spells and really make it control.

I agree here. You don't have sphinx's which is why control has so much land. so you can probably go 25 26 at most.
That's what all the creature removal is for though. So that I can get away with more planeswalkers.
I like it. But I'd love to hear your input. I want it to be standard.
Here is my Esper Mill deck if you want to compare Ideashttp://www.mtgvault.com/rimedge/decks/esper-mill/
Yes exactly my point. For the same cost you got a lot more. Plus since this deck is a little bit more heavy with the blue then you're almost guaranteed to have the sources of colors you need to cast.
In my experience with Mind grind Vs Traumatize, Traumatize ALWAYS milled my opponent for much more then mind grind would. Even with a 6 land mill from mind grind traumatize always did better for me. I run an esper mill deck and started with 2 mind grinds now I'm at 2 traumatize. That's my only suggestion to the deck but I've already read somewhere that you don't like traumatize. But I promise you if you give it a chance and play it when you can, just watch you're opponents reaction. They almost cry.
Well good luck with the deck, and if I helped in any way then awesome :D It's looking good though.
Supreme Verdict could be put in just as a side board card in case things get hectic versus another faster aggro deck. Oblivion ring in sideboard can be replaced with Detention sphere since the sphere targets all of the targeted card so let's say they have more than one Boros reckoner or some other problematic creature, you can get rid of them all. Against control you can actually throw in negates or cancels in your sideboard as well which you can side out feeling of dread for. I'm also feelings -4 precinct captain and +2 skynight, +1 silverblade paladin, and +1 Sublime Archangel. Or +1skynight and +1 fiendslayer. That's up to you. But that's what i feel could go in. other than that I like the Azorious Humans very much. It's different from the Wescoe Boros Humans that everyone is running right now. But nice.
Yea watery grave is an expensive one and probably will only go up as the Innistrad lands rotate. But luckily there are confirmed new lands in Theros so I can't wait to see what those will be like. But other than the suggestions made the deck looks pretty good. Good luck on testing it out! :D
Watery grave will still be legal in standard. You can add that to give just a tad bit more speed. Mind Grind Mirko Vosk and Dimir Charm are also a few great cards that won't be rotating that can help.
Ahh lucky! I'd be happy to pull 2 ajanis!
Woops! XD Well then he is a very fashionable man XD
Yes I can see how your deck works and I am quite interested haha. The splashed black was a very nice touchNow that you explain it I do see why you picked Signal Pest. And hey to each it's own. It's either power or evasion and you went with evasion which is always awesome. I suppose either one would work. But you are right it is a great 1 drop :D Either way it's an awesome deck!
WOW! I really like this deck! I love how your creatures are sort of like instances and sorceries in themselves. Like how fiend hunter is basically an oblivion ring for creatures and how Grand Abolisher is like a silent for your turn. Splashing black for Sorin is a real nice idea :D I've been thinking of how to splash a color into my deck and this gave me a nice idea :DMy ONLY dislike about the deck is signal pest just because if he is alone then he's a little useless. I would actually replace with Accorder Paladin just because he's stronger and has the same ability even though he does cost 1 more. Though Signal Pest does "technically" have flying he still does no damage that I can see.BUT other than that the deck looks pretty awesome :D
Thank you very much :D That means a lot. And yes I know Ajani does seem unorthodox but he really is just there to beef up the creatures and then if I can use his 3rd ability to get me even more tokens. Elspeth Tirel is an amazing card! I didn't realize how awesome she was until I just looked at her haha. The other Elspeth is VERY expensive though so I doubt I can afford her lol. But I will look into a better planeswalker.Again Thanks for the comment :D and I will take a look at your Odric deck (: I love Odrics!
Hhmm I see what you're saying. I think I'll keep the Hauntings in just for more flyers when needed. I don't think dropping Oblivion Ring is a good idea seeing as it is my only removal. Brave the Elements MIGHT be able to come down 1 but It's my only protection as well haha. And Ajani I really like even though you are right XD I'll test with him and without and see how it works. If anything I'll probably drop Mikaeus or Thraben. Intangible Virtue is also a maybe to drop. I guess more playtesting will definitely be needed before I make my final choice. But thank you though! Really making me think haha
I do like doomed traveler as well. In a lot of my matches my opponent is usually weary of killing the traveler because they don't want me to have something with flying on the board. Mikeus I might cut because she can be quite slow with my limited supply of mana and building her up from 1/1 is pretty annoying, I just like that she gives all my creatures +1+1 counters.
Yes I do see what you mean about my weakness to flying. That's also another reason why I have the spirits tokens to cover some flying but they are weak. I do like your ideas about countering flying. And Soul Warden does look very nice! But what to take out is my problem :/ I mean I could keep a lot of stuff on my sideboard but I still don't know. Thanks for the input as well (:
I have 2 increasing devotion in the deck already. And I like captain's call but soldiers are kind of useless except for just beefing up crusader of odrics. I rather have humans and Spirits since spirits have flying. But thank you for the input :D
