Deck Description

A giant theme deck that is not afraid to fling my creatures and gain control of other creatures and fling them as well. This is yet another old deck and needs to be revamped so if anyone has any ideas please let me know. I kinda wish I had not even posted this one just due to the fact that I did not realize Sneak Attack was in here. I would have noticed it earlier but it was listed near the end of my paper decklist, it's a great card don't get me wrong but I have since traded all 3 copies I had after building and breaking this deck. Hehehe guess the first thing I need to do is add fling to the deck, just looked at the list and realized it's not there.

Deck discussion for stoutarm

Ok, so seriously, I just spent thirty minutes typing a bunch of great advice, looked up some old cards and was really jamming with this deck, and then accidentally closed the browser. It was frustrating, but I was really getting into it, so I am going to try and sum it up and get a some specifics back in here.

~ lots of fire breathing effects (Blessing, scourge of the nobilis, crown of flames, fiery mantle, shitu firebreathing, shiv's embrace, stone hands)

~ more fling effects (bloodfire infusion, grab the reins, soulblast, rupture (love this one), consuming ferocity)

~ Some non-sac flinging (Brawl, Cragganwick Cremator, crush underfoot, deadshot, Electropotence, Stalking Vengance (this one doubles the fling-ability of your creatures)

furnace celebration and quest for pure flame also were on my list. As were a number of white spells that bring your creatures from the graveyard to the battlefield.

I have always loved this guy and thought about making a deck with him a while ago. I love the giant theme. This makes Coat of Arms viscous awesome. Door of Destinies and Cryptic Gateway are other tribal staples that could find a great home here. And Phyrexian Processor could also be amazing in a deck like this.

Is there a card that reflects damage you deal to one opponent to all opponents? That would be win.

I am not a fan of Cloudgoat, I would switch him with Borderland Behemoth. Lowland Oaf for Bloodfray Giant.

Ok I guess that is a bunch, love the deck, and hope some of this is good for some tinkering!

I have only read the first two sentences and I am about to lmao. I think that has happened to you before when commenting on one of my other decks, might have been someone else but for some reason I thought it was you. I will read the actual helpful comments in a minute, let me collect myself. I don't know what you said but thanks for taking a look, I will be critical of your being helpful later.

I like blessing, for some reason I did not even know it was in m 14. I don't have any m 14 yet but am planning on getting some soon. Shiv's embrace is another I am looking for from m 14. The scourge and fiery mantle would be the other ones that were the best of the lot from that grouping of cards, I guess I could also add moonveil dragon. Consuming ferocity would be too slow if you ask me. As for the others listed I need to get a grab the reins, I will make a note on my paper list for that one as soon I am done with this comment. I like rupture, it could be good with something like twilight shepherd or faith's reward. As for soulblast it would work with the 2 cards already mentioned or would be good even without those others just so it can be a kill switch for one player. Let's see the quest card is kinda nice, it's a mini furnace of rath for a turn. The celebration is good it could be expensive though, the way I see it is you have to pay to sac a creature and then pay to turn on the celebration ( hehehe you have to pay to have fun, nothing is free). Anyhow, I looked at the door just after I posted the deck and said that could work. What the heck cryptic gateway that is fun on a bun. I see the processor going into a deck with lots of lifelink not so much in this deck. I will look into switching out the ranger dude possibly for one of the ones you mentioned. Rush of blood is nice as well as impelled giant, actually impelled giant could get outta control real quick and would be the target of hate. I like Stalking vengeance used it in my 3 color deathkeeper token sac deck. Brawl is like an instant fight for all creatures, that could turn out either way depending on how many creatures other players have, if they are tapped or untapped, and how big they are, I could have fun with that card give all my creatures deathtouch. I think I see why the cremator is good, early on it would allow you to drop a higher cost creature from you hand that you might not be able to play until late game and it would get some damage in, just have be pretty sure you were going to drop a creature from your hand or lose out on the extra goodness of him coming into play. I am glad you are leaving all these cards I have not seen before on here like deadshot. I think that might go into my reflection or infection deck whichever has stuffy doll in it. Electropotence is a decent card but because many of the creatures in the deck have a higher cost then that gets expensive real quick. You have me doin work, all of that and now I am looking for something that reflects damage. I will look in my binder only and see what I can find. Repercussion is interesting especially if someone were to make a fight deck and I know that's not what this deck is but brawl was mentioned. Gratuitous violence, turn the tables, retaliate, wall of reverence and mirror strike (or something similar to that). I don't even know if the 5 cards I mentioned right there were what you were looking for but they are more options.

One more to check out would be reflect damage.

All this talk about fighting has me wanting to make a fight deck (sounds like I have challenged myself) and that's what I am in the process of doing right now, so be on the look out for a new deck posted on here in about a week (after it gets some play time so I can determine if it's even worth posting).

Some giant cards for consideration:

Sun Titan, Furystoke Giant, Wandering Graybeard, Borderland Behemoth (already suggested by jestersmind), and Feudkiller's Verdict.

It definitely looks like you have a few weaker "filler" giants you could swap for these.

It needs to be worked on that's for sure, I have been lazy (when I say lazy I mean as far as editing decks) and have been working on posting a deck with every color combination. Thank you for viewing the deck and leaving the comment.
