This is an experimental deck. Based on how I've built it, Its main focus is to get rid of enemy threats whether they be creature, instant, or sorcery. The deck uses Gnat Miser and Locust Miser to reduce the opponents hand size. This strategy can be used to play spells like Garruk's Wake and Grave Betrayal without having to worry about counter spells such as Cancel or Negate. The spell Hero's Downfall is used in an emergency situation in case the opponent plays a card like Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker or Jace, Memory Adept. The deck does play very well against other decks that play many creatures that give each other buffs. It absolutely destroys slivers and elves. I made this deck to counteract my sliver deck and my elf deck, so far it looks very promising.
I usually go for a Gnat Miser and then Locust Miser. I never play a Tormented Soul until I get Elbrus, The Binding Blade. This can cause the Tormented Soul to perish before I play Elbrus, but if I wait then I can play Elbrus and equip it to the Tormented Soul to attack and then transform it into Withengar Unbound. If I get neither of these, then I'll play Grave Betrayal and then Archfiend of Depravity. Usually this gets me a kill, but just in case, I could play Garruk's Wake with Grave Betrayal to unleash a deadly combo. With their hand down to nearly zero, the chances of them having a cancel or some negating spell that they haven't used by now will have been about 1/34. This ensures victory and then I attack. If I get down in life, then its time for an Elixir of Immortality to bring my entire graveyard back to my library and give me 5 life. This also ensures my victory, mainly because the chances of me getting either an Elixir of Immortality or a similarly deadly spell is about 1/20 if I haven't already drawn it. This is why I have Diabolic Tutor in my sideboard. It can give me the card I need in the most dire problems of situational play.
