Deck Description

Generate mana with cheap Vine Trellis (Added for defense in the first few turns instead of weak Elves or something like that) and Rampant Growth/Explosive Vegetation/Kodama's Reach. Get out either a large creature with your generated mana or an Elvish Piper and take 'em to town with it. A few instants will pump up their damage to critical amounts with your availible mana pool, possibly creating a quick 5 to 7 turn game if everything runs its course correctly.

Largest possible creature in five turns: 42/42 Thorn Elemental

I'm terrible with lands, so i just stuck 18 forests in there to make sure I get a good draw of at least 2 on the first turn. That way I can just search for more or play a Trellis, which in turn lets me tap for more to search for more soon after. Comment with suggestions for lands.

EDIT: I took out Monstrous Growth for Vines of Vastwood for some protection. I also reduced Explosive Vegetation to 3 as well as Kodama's Reach.

Deck discussion for Green Powerhouse

How do you plan on keeping Elvish Piper alive? Throw some Vines of Vastwood in there, mayhap?

Replace Vine Trellis with Overgrown Battlement. Same cost, but adds G for each defender in play. If you have 4 of them out, that's 16 mana on the field, plus lands.
