I am sure having Emrakul in your opener makes it an instant Mulligan : )
Also, i would play Farseek and Sylvan scrying over Explore, since that relies on you having an extra land in your hand. Farseek acts almost like a sakura tribe elder, and sylvan scrying could find a zoetic cavern if you needed one.

I would definitely put in Beseech the queen over Diabolic Tutor. Worst case, it is the same cost, if you get enough swamps it can be played a turn earlier. it can also fetch anything in your deck anyway, since you are playing cmc 1 and 2 cards only.

Interesting idea, but no coiling oracle? no basics? no dryad arbor for t1 ramp with zenith?

I really don't think Narset has a place in this deck, since she is very slow. ideally this deck wins on turn two with grisel and the spikes, and narset adds two more colors to the deck (except for the flashback of unburial rites), so i am not going to use her. (Also, she only allows to cast noncreature spells, which is not very helpful.)
Green works fine, it is not such a problem gettting some kind of green source turn one. the birds just help with the fixing, but i went from 4 to 2 recently, because they are not so important to winning, they are mostly eating removal. Time of need acts just like a 5th and 6th Griselbrand, i am even thinking of going up to the full set and leaving out the Emrakuls. Grisly salvage is just another way of getting grisel in the grave, or sometimes an unburial rites as well.

may i request you do that anyway? would be great to see a non budget version!

Nice Idea, but i would recommend death cultist over mogg fanatic, losing the life is much better than dealing damage in my opinion. Good Luck with the deck!

they die first, as soon as they hit the battlefield they go to the grave as a state based action.

you can bounce the illusions as well, doesn't matter that they go to your hand, they are still leaving play on the opponents side
