Deck Description

This deck is based on Endless Whispers...
If Phage dies, the opponent loses the game.
If Bronze Bombshell dies, the opponent loses 7 life.
(If you feel like it add Leveler and your opponent will lose at the beginning of his next turn, though this one is kinda risky if he has any way not to draw a card during his turn)
Braids, Smallpox and Jinxed Idol are primarily to make the above happen and secondarily to annoy your opponent with damage/sacrificing...

I dont really know what else to put in, hence the Jinxed Idol and Blood Pet... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

if you like this one you'd check out my similar U/R deck:

I happen to think it's a very skerry combo to be honest ;P The deck looks pretty solid, and you can't really go wrong with the Jinxed idol or Blood Pet. Something I would add would probably be a couple Culling the Weak for some more mana acceleration and another sacing outlet.

added Cabal Therapy in the Sideboard, so it can substitute Jinxed Idol vs. Counter Heavy Decks

you should have go for the throat in here to kill phage when she has endless whispers on, if your playing a token deck they will have a bunch of 1/1s, also you could give phage unblockability with whispersilk cloak

i thought of go for the throat initially but then decided i could just as easily use Smallpox instead
Now, with Smallpox, Braids and even Culling the Weak i dont think there's a need for Go for the Throat just for killing Phage. Whispersilk Cloak would be an idea, though i think it's a lot more fun winning by giving your opponent control than attacking him and as i build this deck arround this idea i think i'm gonna stick to it...
however, if you're playing this deck to win and not just for the fun of seeing your opponent's face when you bounce phage to him, than unblockability is obviously something that'd be considered

Well I have a question for you. Can you sacrifice a creature to use its sacrifice ability and also the ability of an other card that also requires a sacrifice all by the same time? What I mean is (example) you control a *Blood Pet* its ability requires to sacrifice it to add a {B} to your mana pool. *Jinxed Idol* also requires a sacrifice to make target opponent gain control of it. So if you sacrifice *Blood Pet* you'll get one {B} mana pool and also target opponent will gain control of *Jinxed Idol* ??? That's what I want to ask thank you for reading and I hope you to reply...

i don't think you can. sacrifing is nothing you target but something you do with a permanent (like paying costs i guess), so you won't be able to choose the same permanent for two different sacrifice-abilities because will already be "used" by the first one ... i guess what i'm trying to say is i don't think sacrifing goes on the stack, so the creature is immediately gone as soon as you sacrifice it and by the time you can use the second sacrifice-ability there is no creature anymore to sacrifice

I know this is late posting, but I was curious to see what you had experience with and I stumbled across this design. I have my own deck utilizing endless whispers posted that I've been meaning to add phage to. My deck however relies on Leveler to win. As long as I have a manner in which to sacrifice it right away, Endless Whispers forces your opponent to lose by being unable to draw at the start of the following turn.

Leveler is another way to get a win just like phage, sure you exile your library but at the end of turn so does your opponent and then they are forced to draw which they cant so they lose

nice idea that i havent thought of so far.. though i'm not gonna add him as this deck is especially fun in multiplayer and you'd lose just on your next turn... however for a normal deck it's definitely an idea to exchange Bronze Bomshell for Leveler

though i've decided to add him to my U/R donate deck as he's just awesome with Bazaar Trader! thanks again for the idea

Way to go front page more than a year after this deck was uploaded. I wonder if the creator is still around to appreciate it?

A very fun deck indeed, great concept!

Since you said you didnt know what else to add....If it were me, Id toss in 4 Jester's Caps. Just to pluck at their mind. Even let them know its going to happen...Get Psychological on them. Be like "Yeah, Got 4 Jester's Caps in this baby"....and they will worry so much about that, Your other awesome stuff will kill them. If it doesnt happen like that, You still have a way to remove 12 key cards from their Library. Thats dangerous.

yeah this deck can be slow but it's more for casual fun play anyway - especially in multiplayer this goes crazy. dont like jester's cap that much, as this is a black deck i'd rather go for sadistic sacrament but removing three cards usually doesnt help you that much and you cant pull it off twice usually

though i'm a little bit surprised that this deck is that much more popular than the similar R/U one with Illusions of Grandeur that i personally prefer :(
