Deck Description

This particular iteration of the Torpor Orb deck focuses a bit more on procuring and protecting the artifact and a bit less on exploiting it. Apostle's Blessing is an amazing card; it protects Torpor Orb but can also render Hunted Horror and Eater of Days unblockable if need be. No white mana though, so you do have to Phyrexian cast it. This deck has done well by me in the limited play testing it's seen but I'd still very much appreciate any recommendations.

How to Play

Get Torpor Orb out, put some fatties on the board, cast Essence Harvest. With Beseech the Queen, you're generally looking for this stuff but it's often come in handy when you need a Drown in Sorrow or a Surgical Extraction.

Question, how does the sundial work?

Sure, it's just a dupe for torpor orb. Cast Eater of Days or Hunted Horror. It resolves, and then its ability goes on the stack. Then, you activate sundial, its ability goes on top of the stack exiling everything underneath it (such as the centaurs and the skipped turns). You can also use it to cancel out instants and activated abilities that your opponent casta on your turn.
