Revastran

5 Decks, 5 Comments, 2 Reputation

The reason I am not running 4x flooded strand (this is normally ideal), is that there are several decks of every variety (aggro/combo/control) that run main deck pithing needle in the main deck (as well as a few rogue painter decks that run several in the main deck). They typically name flooded strand if they drop it turn 1, or Jace (reason I cut down to 2). Meh, I'm moving to Seattle in a couple months, hopefully the meta there isn't as.... strange.

This deck has been changed and is built to test in my current meta-game.

Meh, the snow-covered lands thing is a vanity thing : P I know that don't do anything.

Any deck that runs brainstorm type effects should run 4-12 search lands for the shuffle effect, especially in a combo or storm deck. Even mono color aggro decks run them to help thin out the deck. Unless your meta is filled with stifle / pithing needle there is no reason not to run search lands. Any competitive legacy player would agree.
