Example kiln fiend is out in play and its your third turn you have 3 mountains attack with kiln fiend, if their is no creatures out and they declared no blockers then lightning bolt them for 3 and incinerate them for 3 dealing 6 to them with spells, kiln fiend get plus 6/0 because of the two instances, you dealing a total of 13 damage on turn 3
