Deck discussion for Terrain Plunge

Hedron Crab doesn't really fit the win con here, unless you are just using it as an alternate wincon. I also question Knight of the Reliquary, yes it is a good card but the only engine you have to get lands in the graveyard is Dreamscape Artist, which isn't really that good of a discard. Not only that, there are only 4 lands possible in the deck to actually sac to the Knight itself. While Roil Elemental is a really fun card, it needs a way to protect it. If you play it, it will die. That's just how it works. I suggest Asceticism. It works on all your creatures and is fairly difficult to get rid of unless the opponent is running enchantment hate. I'd also drop the number of Boundless Realms to 2 at the max. Way too high of a mana curve for the little mana ramp you have.

Enough with criticism, and on to the positive. Enjoy the way you added Venser in here. At first glance, it's obvious he's here to blink lands for landfall, but you can also blink your bounce lands and get back normal lands while your at it. Hell, those lands could infinitely bounce themselves. You may want to look into Amulet of Vigor. It will help with your tapped lands and is fairly cheap to actually use. On top of that, this deck is very affordable if you were actually interested in it.

I'm not sure cultivate or boundless realms are actually that useful for you, since they specify basic lands and you only have 8 of those.

Crucible of worlds I believe it is, or something like noxious revival? Just to get some of the lands back from the grave.

Thank you guys for the criticism! I was pumping decks at around 3 in the morning last night and forgot about some decent cards I could throw in. :P I'll fix it up soon.

Added in Asceticism and took out Knight. Buffed Oracle and Lotus up to 3, dropped Boundless down to 2. Looking for a replacement for Dreamscape Artist.

Remove Dreamscape Artist for either Ior Ruin Expedition or Rest for the Weary. Rest doesn't fit too well here but it can be SB for aggro enemies.

I have several suggestions here for this deck. I don't know if you have some kind of budget in mind, but assuming you don't here they are:
1. lots of lands that enter tapped. drop some for fetch lands and basic lands even evolving wilds would be better since it allows for 2 land drops a turn or even landfall trigger on your opponent's turn.
2. harrow is better than cultivate. it makes 3 lands possible to enter, plus, two are still able to be used right away. sacrificing one land is not a big deal with landfall.
3. you will stall out fast with landfall since its all about ramping mana. add in seer's sundial for landfall draw ability.
4. more lands less creatures. landfall should be running more like 25-28. you always want a land in your hand to play.

so overall I would make these changes:
-calcite snappers, + courser of kruphix
-cultivate, + harrow
-2 roil elementals, +2 basic lands
- 8 dual lands, +4 fetches + 4 basic
-3 hedron crabs because mill doesn't seem viable with this deck +3 stepp lynx because he can be a big beater if played right
-3 clones for 2 baloth woodcrasher, and a land
-1 dreamscape artist -1 gladeheart, +2 seer's sundials

some possible sideboard cards
-khalni heart expedition (play 3rd land, harrow, then pop the expedition for total of 5 lands entering)
-bloodghast and ob nixilis the fallen if you switch to black
-turntimber basilisk is good for a little removal since he can force blocks
-deprive allows you to counter a spell for 2 blue and return a land to your hand
- I might even try to get a few elvish mystics in here because landfall can tend to be slow to start.

this all being said, I love landfall decks. once they get going its hard for an opponent to regain ground.
+1 like from me :D

You could look at Ghostly Flicker, as its 2U for 2 landfall trigegrs and the 2 lands that come back are untapped.
Sakura Tribe Scout can be really good for putting lands into play for landfall.
If you dont care as much for budget, Scapeshift can be really good as well.

I'll definitely consider. Sakura Tribe Scout looks really nice. I like Ghostly Flicker, but I don't know if I should really put it in this deck. I'm not sure about Scapeshift. :o

I would probably run scapeshift rather than boundless realms tbh. you don't lose mana production when sacking the lands, plus its 2 mana cheaper and could be just as equally game winning as boundless realms. bonus, you can grab any land from your deck not just basic lands

in other words, you can scapeshift for 4 mana, sac the 4 lands you tapped to play it, grab all your fetches and then fetch for lands for a total of 8 lands entering the battlefield for 4 mana

sorry I couldn't keep this to one comment, but you also now have 4 new untapped lands you can use for something else :P

If your already running Scapeshift I would consider cutting -1 Roil Elemental -1 Urban Evolution -1 Asceticism then + 2 Prismatic Oman and +1 Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle. This would provide an additional win con which is really fun. Once you have a Prismatic Omen in play and 6 lands you are able to Scapeshift for 6 grabbing Valakut and any other 5 to deal 6 x 3 damage to anything.

doesn't valakut deal damage after there are 5 mountains on the battlefield?

Haha I just saw the connection between them. Honestly, I think it'd be a hilarious way to win, but I love my Roil Elementals (I made the deck because of them :P). I'd probably just make a new landfall deck with that combo if I were to do it.

If you scapeshift with a Valakut as being one of they enter and it is considered a mountain. The way the game see's it on resolve is you countrol 6 mountains and a valakut when resolve happens as long as ypou have prismatic oman in play. trust me it works.

Yep the game see's you have 6 mountains on resolve, then see's you had 6 enter which will deal 6 x 3 or more. I just say 6 B/C you wouldn't due it for less.

If it has already been suggested you might want to try and abuse amulet a little more by adding in other lands that come into play tapped.
