Deck Description

VERY rough draft a deck design I have that is made for abusing Descent Into Madness. Threw this together quite quickly so I will change it as time goes. I am also wanting to keep it a token deck, to me it is a good design.

How to Play

The early game is to be able to stave off the current meta of super-aggro decks, which I think it could do successfully. The combo in it is to use Assemble the Legions, get a token, then next turn drop a Descent Into Madness. Sacrifice all tokens from AtL into DIM so your side of the field is basically unchanging while your opponents are taking a heavy hit each turn.

Deck discussion for Descent

Selesnya to me seems like a better Token generator. Could do something interesting with this sort of theme with Junk colors. Gives you access to Parallel Lives which could make your DIM Engine faster and better. Seems interesting and fun though I like it. Even if you like the red a lot, the mana is good right now 4 colors is an option but might be iffy. But I honestly think you'd have the best potential for this deck with G/W/B.

Probably more power behind that build but I have to run assemble to properly abuse descent and with this deck I can probably keep up with all the aggro decks. I did consider making it a 4color too, but I don't like having to play it like that. If I did I would probably go USA control or GWB midrange and a splash of red for the assemble

How have I never seen descent into madness before!? I love this, looks really devestating. If you find that its too slow, you could use a bit of green for farseek and a few selesnya token generators. Don't drop any other colors, just maybe cut the doomed travelers for avacyns pilgrims and krenkos commands for farseek. If its not consistent change it back, but it seems doable with all of the dual lands, especially since the green splash also fixes

yea i would have to agree. this deck is not so much about powerful tokens but quantity of tokens. and it doesn't really matter when your opponent has nothing on the field anyway thanks to descent into madness. Love it
