Defend, Deploy, Destroy It's all about ramping artifacts to boost our Hellkite friend, gave it a casual playtest and scored 4-0. The myrs provide mana and short range blockers, but are also perfect semblance anvil targets. Assault Strobe is simply magnificent with either the hellkite or wurmcoil, which become pretty scary when equipped with the mask of avacyn. For defense of course the artifact lovin galcanic blasts, and some tumble magnets. I am considering putting in some mass removal (Blas. Act/Slagstorm), but not entirely sure what to get rid of for it. I also chose to run a pair of Grafdigger's Cage, it is a super cheapy drop with the ability to stop off annoying unburial rites, a lot of draw engines, card tutoring etc etc. I think it's one of the best and mana efficient defensive cards. You get the idea, it's pretty stable for now and good fun to play casually. Also pretty cheap; if you don't want to spent money on the wurmcoils, some precursor golems are also pretty nice on that spot due to nice synergy with assault strobe and hexproof. Enjoy! Figured i didn't really need the geosurges, mana has not been a problem until now and i don't mind playing the hellkite two turns (and thus probably two land and two artifacs) later. So took them out together with one tumble magnet to be replaced with 3 slagstorms. Might still switch to whipflare but that card would definitely need to be a 4 of, and have no idea what else to remove.
