Deck Description

The idea is aggro. Drop creatures, swing, kill. Potential turn 4 lethal if they have no early game and no answers.

Sideboard is crafted to be able to answer(hopefully) anything you may encounter.

How to Play

Turn 1 : Bloodlust Inciter
Turn 2 : Preferred: Glory-bound Initiate : Honored Crop-Captain
Turn 3 : Preferred: Combat Celebrant : Always Watching
Turn 4 : Preferred: Fleetwheel Crusier : Insult // Injury, Always Watching

To come out fast and strong, this is the preferred plays per turn. As you can see, this deck is very proactive and does not really care what your opponent is doing.

If you roll out this turn order and you are on the play, you can have your opponent at 5 life going into their turn 3!

Swing 3 turn 2 with glory-bound from haste with bloodlust. Do not exert. Give Combat celebrant haste turn 3, swing glory-bound and combatant exerted. Untap glorybound, swing exerted again.

Turn 2 - 3 damage
Turn 3 - 12 Damage - 8 Life Gained

Now if you are holding a fleetwheel crusier and the mana for it, maybe you wait till turn 4 to exert as fleetwheel will swing twice with no crew. That is a judgement call based on the board state at the time.

I have been building aggro decks for years now in standard and this looks to be one of the fastest ones I have seen yet.

Deck discussion for R/W Exert

I can't help but feel Bloodlust Inciter is a little gimmicky. Sure, if the stars align in the correct way under a blue moon it's awesome, but I personally feel you'd get more reliable value out of something like Expedition Envoy.

Also, I'm not sure if you noticed, but your only nonhuman is the Dragon. So Thalia's Lieutenant is worth considering too.

While the 2/1 is nice, Bloodlust inciter really fuels the speed of this deck. Without him it is not nearly as fast and dangerous.

I def. considered Thalia's LT, but is it a better option in this deck than Harsh Mentor or Honored Crop-Cap? I'm not sure about that. I'll def. play test it a little bit and see what feels good.

Appreciate the comment man.

After thinking more and doing a little testing i decided to put in 4 LT's and take out 3 mentor, 1 crop cap. Crop-Mate played a huge role in my decision because of the exert effect. Bringing back a LT with a few creatures on the board seems really strong. Thanks again for your suggestions.

Glad to help. I must admit that I didn't notice the interaction with Devoted Crop-Mate. Really puts a dampener on the opponent's early Fatal Push, Shock, etc. (except Magma Spray, that exiles). Nice catch :)
