Too much equipment for only 1 creature besides possible Corrupted Conscience targets. -2 FaF / -1 Pike / -1 WaP and then add some other nonlegendary infect creatures. Phyrexian Crusader is good for most Metas. Maybe change up the instants/sorceries. Artful Dodge is great for getting equipped infect througb and works great with the graveyard/discard antics. I know mana fixing is tough with Grixis at times, but I would add a couple Inkmoths.

You need a black source of mana to activate Grim Backwoods.
I've been running a similar deck and come to find that I rarely played Undying Evil. Especially if you have access to a Mikaeus, the Unhallowed. Takes care of your undying needs. What are you using for your 5 CMC creatures? Bloodgift Demon and Acidic Slime are solid in that spot. Slime is also strong in Vat. Bitterheart Witch with Curse of Death's Hold single in deck is great Pod fodder. I found first few times I played, the GB was supsectible to flyers and no removal in the 3 CMC spot. Enter Daybreak Ranger. Hope this helps.
Call To the Grave would be more useful to filling your opponents graveyard with creatures as fuel for the Grimoire. Replace Rooftop Storm. Hard for Storm to be useful without more card drawing.
Also, if you want to play this competively, replace the Consume Spirits and 2 Hideous Visage with Virulent Wound. Will help vs all the decks running Delvers and Inkmoths.
Take out 2 Flings and add 2 more Shrines. Such a great wincon, especially with all the cheap red spells.
I personally would bring your land count to at least 20. I run. 3 Spellskites in my MonoB infect deck, and it helps so much with creature defense and as a decent blocker. Black Sun's Zenith is such a great board sweeper. You can definitely take over a game wiping the board then attacking with your Inkmoths. Look into Lashwrithe. Great for most MonoB decks, but moreso with infect.
I'm a long time player, but there was a huge gap of my playing/purchasing of cards between 02 and 2010. I play a lot of FNM and standard format with my girlfriend. We just put our feet into EDH waters. Having a blast with that. I have a lot of the current standard cards so that's why I focus on that. Occasionally play more casual type standard decks.
Creeping Renaissance is there for getting back what you need. I've ran a couple versions with Noxious Revival in it, but I find the one CR is good for getting your maniacs in play for when you are about milled out.
Lol... That would piss me off so hard.
I'm quite interested in sleeving this up... I only have 2 Grave Titans though. What would you suggest? Wurmcoils? Batterskull?
How do you plan on winning?
I suggest more ramping if you want it fast. I don't think the way it is now is quite fast enough.
What will you do if you happen to draw both of your Blightsteels? I put Merfolk Looter into my Shape Anew/Blightsteel decks. You did open my eyes to how awesome a Blightsteel could be with First Strike as well, thanks! If you have any thoughts on my bUG standard self mill deck, that'd be nice.
Take a look at my deck just above yours. I think you have too many Blue Sun's. I think for this deck, Jace's Archivist achieves about the same thing and punishes your opponent at the same time.
Some of my favorite sideboard cards are Memoricide and Surgical Extraction. I think the latter option is the more expensive of the two. Maybe for sideboard add more situational cards for your local meta, and less removal.
Tutoring is spells like Diabolic Tutor, Rune-Scarred Demon...they allow you to search for any card in the deck. Good card drawing is Tezzeret's Gambit, which also proliferates, and Bloodgift Demon. All very cheap uncommons and rares.
If you are going for the somewhat infect route, try Virulent Wound instead of Dead Weight maybe. Instant speed removal for one Black.
I like the deck as I have been trying to do a mostly noninfect monoblack deck. I would suggest some sort of tutoring or card drawing for all of the one ofs you have. BSZ is an awesome removal card as well.
