Deck Description

Ok, I've pretty much got this deck to a point which I like. If any body can enlighten me with other choices I'd be grateful of course :-). Effectively I want to create a deck which is frustrating for the opponent as he/she will be limited and what they can do, but fun for me to play :-D I won't be making friends with this deck I'm sure

How to Play

Try control the game and make it go as slow as possible for the opponent, tap them out, and play sunblast angel and have some fun :-)

Deck discussion for What's the mana with you? :-D

For the Manipulator, the rules supercede the card, so you have tap it.

But yes, this deck could get annoying.

this is a tricky subject, actually. and im going to complicate it further lol. when a CARD says something that disputes the rulebook, the CARD wins. every time. that being said, Ash is exactly right. Icy Manipulator no longer reads "(1): you may tap or untap target land, creature or artifact on either side" Icy Manipulator has an Errata which makes you tap it for each instance, or use, so the most recent printing of the card is the one with the only text the card carries. same thing happened with Nevinryll's Disk and a number of other older cards.

thanks. well put. That's what I meant. not the game rules, but the most recent card rules.

It is a 'mono artifact.' You actually have to tap it to use it, and always have.

some blue and white creatures that tap creatures would be good, like puppetteer and a few other one or two mana white spells. might think about some counters for a controll deck

nomad decoy if you have threshold would be a great replacement for icy manipulator

Oh man! I can't believe they've done that to the icy manipulator! Thanks for telling me, I may replace it with some of the creatures you suggested draggindealer :-) I suppose this is why I love this game :-D

Blind obedience

I considered blind obedience, but kismet does a better job of it. Apart from the extort, blind obedience doesn't tap land as it enters the Battlefield. Hmm... I'll give it a think though, I do have it in my boros deck.

Kismet is infinitely more relevant. it taps their mana and slows them down. B/O is good in standard only because Kismet isnt there.

And because it costs a lot less

thtas nor relevant really at all when youre slowing your opponent down as much as it does.

I would lower the sunblast angel count to 2 (as you dont want to be holding it early game (or more than 1), and get a few more control elements. Since you are playing the colors, supreme verdict, oblivian ring, or path to exile type removal/control.

I've lowered the sunblast angels, but how shall I find the space for the removal spells? Or shall I go for other spells to that prevent combat damage?

How about the combo of knowledge pool and curse of exhaustion? The curse works to my benefit, plus with the artifact no more spells for my opponent :-D

Exhaustion plus erayo = amazing control

That would be awesome, though What's the likely hood of me playing four spells in a turn?

One drop spells are cheap and make her flip easy late game. Possibility storm/ curse is also a boardlock
