Deck Description

This deck will soon not be standard :'( but I have updated the deck to the cards I play with. Grand abolisher is great to try stop your opponent from playing any combos you want to on your turn. other than that this deck works great one on one and even better multi player. You can board wipe and keep your cards for a very cheap cost, plus deal a load of damage. It's quick and consistent (for me) and have fun getting your lifelink combo, is happened in a lot of games for me, but it's more fun to beat them without the infinite combo.

How to Play

The aim is to dish out as much you can and pile a lot of pressure on to the opponent. You have cards which can help you win in different scenarios :-)

Oh wait! Just got it, boros reckoner paired with nearheath pilgrim and use a boros charm to make them indestructible and deal any damage to boros reckoner infinite amount of times :-D great! Thanks so much for your comment!

This looks like a very solid deck. What would you side Thunderous Wrath in against? Seems like a filler card and Traitorous Blood would be good against reanimator/ and GWx midrange deck to grab their thragtusks and angels or Serenity and throw them back in their face.

Vexing Devil is not a very good card. Aggro decks will just take the 4 and kill you for not playing a blocker t1, and control decks will just let it stay and kill it with a board wipe/kill spell. It should really be replaced with either Boros Elite or Stromkirk Noble.

I agree it's not great but with Reconers and the Pilgrim you don't really have to worry overly much about a T1 blocker. And any control deck would take the 4 anyway on turn 1 because they won't have an answer before it swings in. It's not bad but you should play rest some other 1 drops to see if they're better.

Point being, the card is wildly inconsistent and, seeing as how he is not benefiting from evolve or Varol's scavenge ability, that slot would be better off being filled with a more consistent one drop that preferably isn't a dead draw late game. (Such as Legion Loyalist)

I see your point. I don't think Loyalist would be great main board in this deck because it would likely be turn 4 before the battalion ability would trigger. Stromkirk Noble wouldn't be bad, if he survives the first couple of turns he'll be a 3/3 or bigger and you can soul bond him for lifelink or doublestrike.
Loyalist is a great sideboard card against Token decks.

Its really down to meta game on which is better. Stromkirk is often a dead draw late game and early game pressure, while Loyalist can very well be what you need to trigger battalion on turn 3/4. They should both be tested in the local meta.
