I have always liked the idea of white weenie/equip decks so I thought about it and decided to recreate it as a Abzan Heroic deck instead for standard.
The deck really ramps fast when targeting Phalanx Leader w/ spells and having Hardened Scales on the field of play. The idea is to make sure you have at least x1 Phalanx Leader, x1 Akroan Skyguard, and x1 Hardened Scales out. Target Phalanx Leader couple of times with you spells allowing its heroic ability to give +1/+1 to each creature you control, but be cause you will have Hardened Scales out it really becomes +2/+2 to each creature you control. Now lets say Akroan Skyguard has two +1/+1 counters on him and you target him with Solidarity of Heroes, since the Akroan Skyguard's heroic static ability resolves first before the Solidarity of Heroes he now has four +1/+1 counters. Once Solidarity of Heroes resolves he has nine +1/+1 counters on him now allow your Akroan Skyguard with flying to swing for 10 and hopefully resulting in the kill shot that turn.
