Deck Description

Just some improvements on a deck I made back during the onslaught block... good times...

How to Play

Pretty self explanatory... you play creatures that buff all your other creatures and call to the grave takes care of all of the opponents creatures.

Deck discussion for Zombie's Old and New

You might want to add some more Swamps to this deck, or at least more lands of some kind. Typically you want to strive for a little over 33% lands. I understand the use of Dark Ritual here, but that mana only lasts for one turn, and this deck isn't rushy enough to make good enough use of it, and you have a lot of 4 and 6 mana costs that seem to be central to the deck's efficiency.

Agreed, that occurred to me as well, but since I'm a bit OCD about only posting decks that I own, and since I don't have any swamps with me (I pool cards, and we don't keep them where I live) it will be a couple of day's before I am able to change it. However, what would you suggest I remove, the festering goblins, the dash hopes, or the endless ranks of dead? I'm personally leaning towards endless ranks, as it seems a bit of overkill with the call to the grave x4, but I would like to hear your thoughts.

You know, it's hard to say. I think if you want to keep your creature base the same, then you will have to decide which is more important; Clearing the opponent's field, or getting a whole bunch of tokens out. Honestly, i think that Endless Ranks has better synergy with your deck, because of the huge potential damage from a combo of it with Gempalm Polluter and Lord of the Undead.

I think you could get rid of one or two Call to the Graves, maybe the Sorins, and you might want to get a different killer spell than Nameless Inversion, because you cant use it to beef up your own zombies (They lose zombie typing, and thus lose the buffs from cards like Undead Warchief). That card could be helpful in your sideboard though, to counter other zombie decks.

I think that if you could take out maybe 4 cards to make room for 24 lands, you will be in good shape. It's a pretty cool deck. Hope this helped!
