So, in my "infinite" wisdom, I decided to try out a deck format that I have seen, heard about, but ultimately never tried. Aristocrats. But which Commander should I use for this? Considering how a lot of these cards lack a permanent recursion effect, and I like actually interacting with the table, instead of just playing solitaire, I decided that the God of Passage, and his ability to vex people into putting themselves in an awkward position would be ideal. This deck is a very rough first attempt at the Aristocrats playstyle, made with only cards from my current collection. IF you do want to offer advice on which cards to hunt down in the future, please also tell me what you think I should swap out instead. I do plan on swapping Knight-Errant for Sun's Champion as 3 tokens per turn is better than one! But I have to track her down first.
Very simply put, find cards that trigger effects based on something dying, play them and have everything die!Cards like Bloodflow are here for a more permanent sac outlet, while all the token generating cards are both in here for sacrificial fodder, and to make a token sub-theme. I am not adding in token specific cards outside of those that generate them, such as Mondrak. There are also a few infinite combos in here, because this is Commander and such things are almost a basic requirement. My personal favourite that someone pointed out to me was Phyreixan Altar and Gravecrawler!
