Deck Description

This deck's idea is to be a Chandra-flavored deck I'm using with 5 other friends. We're building 5 Gatewatch (the group) commander decks to play against a Nicol Bolas commander deck using Archenemy AND Planecahse. Yes, we're retarded. And fun.

This deck is not supposed to be a well-oiled machine of extreme precision and efficacy, tuned to perfection. It's supposed to be fun, with a spicy Chandra flavor, but also playable and perhaps it can even (GASP!) win sometimes!

As a Chandra deck, it burns things. Yes, that's the plan. That is ALWAYS the plan.

Have fun.

How to Play

Combos, with explanation:

(Commander's Combo) With any of the following combos, you can untap Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh and flip her to burn stuff. Even if she's going to transform, you can keep responding with more spells and let her burn stuff until finally she'll transform after you run out of spells.

(Main Combo) Infinite Mana = Mana Geyser + Reiterate
Use a Buyback-enabled Reiterate on a Mana Geyser to copy it. Use the mana generated by the copied geyser to recast Reiterate (with buyback every time) to keep adding infinite mana to your pool.

At this point, your options are:
> Infinite X damage, single target = Burn From Within
> Infinite X damage, two targets = Fall of the Titans
> Infinite X damage, single target (no counter possible, non-preventable) = Banefire
> Infinite X damage, infinite targets = Comet Storm, Fireball
> Infinite triggers of 1 damage = Grapeshot (every mana geyser and Reiterate feeds the Storm chain)
> Infinite 1/1 Red Elemental tokens = Young Pyromancer which needs to be on the battlefield as you cast and recast the mana combo.
> Infinite 1/1 Red Goblin tokens = Empty the Warrens (every mana geyser and Reiterate feeds the Storm chain)
(Requires the infinite tokens combo) > Infinite mill = Altar of the Brood and/or Altar of Dementia
> Infinite Land Destruction = Volcanic Awakening (every mana geyser and Reiterate feeds the Storm chain). Please note that as the storm-generated copies of this card enter the stack, you can declare multiple copies to target the same lands, this way destroying all of your opponents' lands without having to destroy your own.

(Combo #2) Burn everything and everyone = Repercussion + Blasphemous Act
This combo also works with any other mass creature damage spell. Every creature will take damage and then their controllers will be burned as well. With Furnace of Rath and/or Dictate of the Twin Gods on the field, the creatures will take double damage, and then the players will take QUAD damage. Use both and then creatures will take 4x, and players 8x damage. Add a Fire Servant and it becomes 8x then 16x. You get the idea. This combo can easily kill you as well.

(Combo #3) Kill Everyone = Heartless Hidetsugu + Furnace of Rath (and/or) Dictate of the Twin Gods (and/or) Fire Servant
This combo will kill every single player with an even number of life points. Including yourself. You can prevent that by dealing 1 damage to yourself or by using Glacial Chasm.

(Combo #4) A LOT of damage and extra mana = Neheb, the Eternal + Pyrohemia
Use all your mana. Deal damage to your opponents with Pyrohemia. Then, at your postcombat main phase, you'll get back 1 mana for each point of damage each opponent received. And if you attack with Neheb, you can even get a little more mana.

Combo Assistance and Other Fun Interactions:
> Pyromancer's Goggles and Primal Wellspring can help you get the mana combo going by adding extra mana that can get you a copy of Mana Geyser and reducing the amount of mana you need to start the cycle.
> Chandra, the Firebrand can also help you with a copy of Mana Geyser using her second ability. Or even copy a single target infinite X damage spell to a second target. Or copy a multiple target infinite X damage spell to avoid a counter. Point is: copying is awesome.
> Neheb, The Eternal can also be a huge help in getting enough mana to start burning everything up.
> Battle Hymn can help you with mana as well. You can even get another combo going with Reiterate if you have enough creatures. If you do it after a token combo, you can get yourself infinite mana again. Especially helpful if you draw a damage finisher only after having the first combo and can't attack with the tokens for some reason.
> Anger or Urabrask, the Hidden is needed so your infinite tokens can attack at the same turn they're created
> Furnace of Rath is useful but needs to be used carefully. It doubles the damage to everyone, including you.
> Glacial Chasm can be used to prevent you from burning yourself along with your opponents.
> Dwarven Hold is slow AF, but can help you gather some mana for a blast.
> Dwarven Ruins & Sandstone Needle aren't perfect, but perhaps 1 extra mana can make a difference sometimes.
> Madblind Mountain can help you shuffle your library if your draws are sucking.
> Expedition Map will help you tutor [Glacial Chasm] for a finished that doesn't kill you as well.
> Purphoros, God of the Forge will burn away all opponents at the same time during an infinite token combo.
