No more of the dreaded 2-for-1s that auras are infamous for. Not anymore, thanks to the newly released Starfield of Nyx. With it, auras are roughly on-level with equipments. You only get one back each turn, but you get to put them on a new creature absolutely free AND they trigger constellation and certain other ETB effects. That train of thought led to this deck, and subsequently a lot of money draining out of my bank account.
Starfield of Nyx is a powerhouse enchantment, but alone it doesn't do much good. This deck is mostly enchantments, making it easier to reach the 5 you need to turn Starfield on. You can also attack and block more liberally with your aura'd-up creatures, as the auras won't stay gone for long. Each time one comes back, or enters the battlefield for the first time, it triggers Blessed Spirits, Skybind, and Eidolon of Blossoms, keeping you ahead, while Akroan Skyguard, Hero of Iroas, and Phalanx Leader make ideal mortals to receive your gifts, setting off their Heroic abilities. You're going to want a quick 2-drop creature in your opening hand, ideally one of your Heroic friends. A cheap aura is also a good opening draw to compliment your creature. The early game will be about building out your board and using your creatures to deal with threats. Once you hit that sweet spot at 5 mana Eidolon of Blossoms and Kruphix's Insight help you find your Starfield, which starts returning any lost auras beginning on your next turn.If you manage to summon Heliod, he'll also help Starfield reach its tipping point by summoning small enchantment creature tokens with your spare mana. Be sure to have his Spear, though, or Dictate of Heliod, before Starfield turns on, or else they'll also fall prey to Starfield's P/T changing ability and disappear- tokens have no converted mana cost, and so would have no toughness.
