The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Just a casual deck i was inspired to create while looking through the Kamigawa block.Started off as RW but ended up trimmed down to this.

I've often thought about making a Samurai theme deck (Was playing during Kamigawa but got entranced by Zuberas and Shrines), but never enacted upon it. Cool deck, man, and I have to wonder, since I don't see that little gem in here; Where's Samurai of the Pale Curtain?Since you're using mono white weenies, SotPC is a great card, not only for its drop value (2/2 for WW and Bushido 1), but for its ability to basically negate black and flashback, hell, even blue and burn to a lesser degree. Of all the Samurai, this one was my favorite, and it has the most playability outside the set that I could see.

Hmm yeah good call. Id over looked it at first as i wasnt sure whether its effect would be relevant, but i hadnt fully considered its pontential. Ill throw 2 instead of a Hand of honor(they're practically the same) and instead of Tenza, Godo's Maul, which isnt too relevant anymore without the red. Thanks, and its nice to see other people considering the older stuff too, dont blame you either for getting distracted by the spirits, theres a lot of powerful cards in there. Someday im gonna make a UW spirits deck around a drogskol captain i have lying around and im definitely going to revisit kamigawa for it :D
When you do that, consider using the Zuberas (the earlier ones, not Betrayers versions). White gains life for each Zubera that dies that turn and Blue does card draw. All you need is a sac agent such as Carnage Altar and you have multiplied card advantage/life gain.
I like it, theres a couple of 'return from graveyard' style spirits isnt there? i guess thats just a combo waiting to happen :)
Oh yes there is, plenty of Soulshift (that's the mechanic) in there. I would drive my friends absolutely batshit when I played my BGW spirits in multi-player.
Ah yeah soulshift of course! well then is going to be fun :D
