Deck Description

Focuses on Nicol Bolas. The deck starts with as much defense and opponent control as possible so that once there's enough land on the field to summon Bolas, one would use him as the offense and the remaining cards for CC. The heavy hitting monsters (such as Ludevic's Test Subject) are in the deck for a distraction purpose, to keep the opponent(s) from stock piling their heavy hitters and decent removal cards. I've constructed this deck solely from the cards I currently own in my collection. I've only been playing for two months now so any advice would be appreciated and noted in reconstructing this deck and future decks.
Detailed predicted use of this deck:
The red cards focus on the use of burn spells and protection creatures.
The blue cards focus on opponent control and creature manipulation.
The black cards focus on the resurrection of monsters and control of the field through creature manipulation.

Deck discussion for Nicol Bolas deck build

focus your deck one of's are bad
dont play bad cards
cancel is straight up outclassed by dissipate
id remove essence scatter and negate for dissipate as well
izzet charm is another option for counterspell as its never dead
grave exchange is to slow as is increasing ambition
essence drain is terrible
dont play disentomb or rise from the grave just play more creatures as when disentomb worked its the same and when it wouldnt its better (in a hand 1 creature is fine just 1 disentomb with no big creature is bad)
pursuit of flight is bad unless you have multiple hex proof guys
charmbreaker devils is bad and so is wall of fire
play the full 4 night hawkss
play multiple ludevic test subject if you have them he is a budget beater
play 4x fog bank he will force removal on him
4x thin k twice/ forbidden alchemy and an extra bolas he's cheap and you major win condition here
elixer of immortality is bad dont use it its a sideboard card

though this is a different league of play then you (casual versus competitve legacy) you may enjoy looking at a legacy deck in the works
