Fair point, kill and kill fast. When it works it works well. (and hopefully often)

I've always wanted to see a deck made for Relentless Rats, *clapping sound*, nice! Though 70 cards seems like a little much, with the self boost and the bad moon the adaptive automaton is not doing very much and neither is the break of day, if you take those out then your at 62 cards, making it much easier for you to draw what you need, and you could take out cover of darkness to make it 60 cards and modern legal (unless you wanted it for another format, 62 cards is still pretty playable).
A great card to take advantage of the creature death, if you chose to splash black, would be Blood Artist. He gains you life while punishing your opponents. And he does not specify, he activates if one of your creatures dies or if one of your opponents does. Also the name of this deck is Genius!
Alas, that was my fear, well at least you have two deck ideas now. Personally I would go with the Rally first, but maybe thats just because I love the Ally creatures both new and old. What is really fun is any Ally with an enter the battlefield trigger, Rally or not is perfect with a kicked Rite of Replication. It gives you five copies of the creature you choose and in turn five triggers for all your Allies at once, beauty at its finest. (though Rite of Replications is not in standard, it is in the original Zendikar block, still awesome if you ever want to try it!)
Thanks, it looks like Mardu Shadowspear will fit nicely here. I can't believe I overlooked it.
Not a whole lot to say besides... Love the Counters!
*Clapping in the background* LOVE the name! It had me practically on the floor laughing! Sooo much fun there!
Love this synergy, and the idea. Something that helps both might be Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit. She helps to buff your non-token creatures. Because your running B/W Lingering souls might be better, in mana cost and synergy of color, than Triplicate spirits. And any of the Ghost councils (all spirits) would probably be fun.
The synergy is awesome, attack get more stuff and then repeat! Zurgo Helmsmasher loves attacking every turn and when its your turn he gets indestructible. And he does not cost much money either.
Thanks! Awesome idea with the Ranger's Guile, it has protection and flavor for the Ranger theme, thanks!
I am honored and I hope to hear how it works out! I prefer the dual lands, but I honestly don't know how much the new ones are right now, but I hope you have fun with it!
That makes sense, nice idea! Yeah testing is a friend lol! Tidecaller combo is sweet.
Anytime! I just hope it works out! I have just been recently getting into modern myself, it's kinda tough sometimes but so much more freedom than standard.
I love this idea, taking a deck that seems to be only successful in five colors and then making it possible in two, genius! If you decide you want to use this for modern instead of standard you could include....Druid of the Anima, Lush Growth, Trace of Abundance and Birds of Paradise. That should add some color =)
I do like the Guide better than Expedition Envoy as long as you can keep the lands open for his ability, and yeah your right the Retreats seem a little slow with all the awaken costs and you can trade it out for practically anything. I like the idea of trading it for clutches or rushes, but if you still wanted Envoy (it would help balance out the awaken costs) you could trade the Retreats for Envoy.
Oh, and I love the Solidarity of Heroes too! It can be abused to much here, thanks!
Thanks! I'm a big fan of Hardened Scales too, I can't wait to see how it works with the allies (love them too!). I'm hoping to get it soon. Oh, and if you have any suggestions for any of my decks, I'd love to hear them. Thank you!
Yeah, I have been thinking about that, but I don't want to ruin the curve with too many 3 costs, but also don't want to take out Nighthawk because he is boss. I will try both ways though and see what works, thanks for the idea.
Some cheaper cost allies could help, but you probably just need to do a little testing that's all. Also it may be a little more difficult to play because it looks like your trying to go for the awaken deck and allies at the same time; it might be a little easier to put your focus one just one, but it's your decision. Choose what you feel most comfortable with.
I like the love for the Allies, very nice. It is hard to find Ally decks that are different. The curve could use a few more things that are a little cheaper in mana cost, especially with all the awaken costs. Also if this isn't specifically for standard then you could look at the allies from the first Zendikar block (with worldwake ect.) it may not have what you want, but it has many more fun allies. My ally deck has some of both, a little more of the old allies right now though since I had those to begin with, but worth the look anyhow!
