Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

This is my deck so far in real life. My question is whether black is even worth playing; I like it because IMO doom blade is the best target creature removal right now and Grave titan is a great finisher, and memoricide in SB can really control combo decks. Grave titan would be an easy switch with wurmcoil, and I would probly take out the doom blades with into the roil.

I also want to know what you guys think is the best way to deal with planeswalkers.

Feel free to give any suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

Deck discussion for u/w/b Control Help

Black has the best removal in standard right now. Its not just Doom Blade, there is also Disfigure, Grasp of Darkness, Consuming Vapors, Consume the Meek, and Gatekeeper of Malakir. As someone who runs U/B control myself Id say the color you need to question here is White. Aside from Gideon what does it give you that black doesnt? I would also recommend Frost Titan, he takes control of the game if not answered quickly. Other then that your deck looks great. Also I think the tar pit man-land is better but that is opinion.

Forgot to ad: Also in blacks favor, a few Vampire Hexmages in the sideboard or even main deck is a good way to deal with walkers. Also Ratchet Bomb if you know whats coming just let the counters sit there and watch them squirm.

Theres always the issue of your mana base when your playing 3+ colours versus 2, if your consistently finding no problems with getting the right mana then thats fine.. And yeah like you said, black has stuff to offer for sure, just clean up your copies of your PW's and your spells, and maybe cut down a bit on the counters and add more spot removal.. Consuming vapours is a must if you have black =)
