The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...
Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
I've been wanting to do a mono-black Mind Slash control deck for some time. Finally I've found enough nifty synergies to come up with a rough draft that I'm mostly satisfies with. For a decrpition of the ideas behind the deck read on below.Any suggestions are welcome :)
Basically you keep your opponent in a soft-lock by making him/her constantly discard while you benifit through card synergies. The first of these synergies is Mind Slash and Waste Not: Every time you chose to force your opponent discard a creature with Mind Slash you get a free zombie token from Waste Not, which you can use to force your opponent to discard even more cards. Essentially this means that all you have to do is sacrifice a single creature and pay {B} per creature in your opponents to discard each creature in his/her hand.Secondly if you have Gravecrawler and another zombie (from Waste Not or a Carrion Feeder) you can use Gravecrawler as repeatable fooder for Mind Slash. If you have Waste Not on the board you even get full benefits from that as well.Thirdly Gravecrawler and Carrion Feeder have a nice interaction between them. As Gravecrawler will act as fooder for Carrion Feeder essentially giving it "{B}: Put a +1/+1 counter on Carrion Feeder"Nezumi Shortfang is there to keep up the discard pressure, if you don't have Mind Slash yet. When you've got your discard engine going it adds some nice damage when you flip it.Painful Quandary is for late game, when you've cleaned out your opponent's hand. Since you can keep forcing him/her to discard he/she can't keep cards in hand to discard to PQ and is thus forced to pay 5 life for every spell cast. That'll kill most players quickly. The rest of the deck is support. Removal for the few creatures that are likely to hit the board. Draw/tutor to get your synergies going. Vampire Nighthawk and Phyrexian Obliterator to deal with threats and add a bit of offence to the deck.

Your deck is cooler than a bag of ice. If you were going to remake this deck, I would add some black creatures like returned reveler, which when they die, they have to discard more of their hand. I have no idea why you chose murder when cards like doom blade, kill! destroy!, and victim of night exist. For a bit of extra mana i would add at least one nykthos, shrine to nyx.But hey, that's just me.

Sorry for the multi posts, Error with the site
Returned reveler states that you put the first three cards from your library into your graveyard, its not from the hand so no discard bonus there. Or am I mistaken?
Sorry, yeah. My mistake
