I wanted to make a stable modern combo deck that could work without ideal hands/draws. The deck is meant to be able to survive until you hit one of the several combos and then just win.
Play walls when you can. If you have a counter in hand, consider conserving mana if the alternative would not contribute to a next turn combo. I'm just going to list the main combos:1. Blood Tender/Axebane Guardian + Freed From the Real = Infinite mana. Use to insta-kill with Sands of Delirium or play your hand. It's particularly useful with Spell Contortion for infinite card draw if you don't have any win con in hand. 2. Intruder Alarm + Presence of Gond = Infinite tokens. Pretty self-explanatory. You can substitute Blood Tender/Axebane Guardian + Freed From the Real for Intruder Alarm (get infinite mana, use with Freed from the Real for infinite tokens).Only play Presence of Gond on Blood Tender/Axebane if possible. This allows Freed from the Real to work when drawn, or else it becomes a dead draw. Use Drift of Phantasms to transmute for basically any card you need for a combo (they are all 3 drops except Blood Tender). If you NEED a creature out to live then you can play it, but it's mainly there to be a tutor.
