Deck Description

The Reaper's army is strong. His army is frightening. And worst of all - it isn't even alive.

How to Play

Thornwatch, Watchwing, Wingrattle, Rattleblaze, Blazethorn.

These five require colored creatures, of which there is only the Reaper - But wait!

Scuttlemutt, Scrapbasket, and Painter's Servant are on the case! These three guarantee that the ThornWatchWingRattleBlaze Scarecrows will have their abilities.

Diabolic searches out the color fixers, or the Reaper himself, while Sylvan Scrying allows for more consistent Urza-mana pumping.

In the side board we have:

~Darksteel Forge - This one is pretty self-explanatory
~Mycosynth Lattice - This will allow all my colored spells to be cast more consistently (and the Reaper King to be cast for 5)
~Whispersilk Cloak - Used primarily to protect the Reaper (or the Angel if she's boarded in)
~Indomitable Angel - All my creatures getting Shroud? Sure, why not
~Doom Blade - Non-black creatures? No problem. Black creatures? Scuttlemutt would like to have a word with you
~Negate - Something to board in if you don't want to invest with the Angel (and even then, it is rather useful)
~Ancient Den - Allows casting the Angel, as well as making the Reaper a little cheaper
