The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...
Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
Returning to a fun mechanic that reall rewards long-term investments, which goes great in WU when mixed with control.

Hmmm...This is a nicely aggro leveler. Might I suggest finding a spot for Ikiral Outrider and/or Silence? The outrider is a TANK that will seriously ruin your opponent's day. Also, maybe Unsummon in place of Essence Scatter? That way you could also bounce your own Venerated Teachers =] Last thing is, you have a lot of lands for a 3-mana max out.

I don't like the Outrider... I simply think he's too expensive. The idea with Unsummon is awesome! It also gives me another idea... My other idea will fix the max-at-3 problem
Never mind... Throwing Venser is this deck was a stupid idea.
Wow... Brain-fart again... I mixed up the Khal with the Caravan Escort :( Your comments were 100% spot-on
hahaha well glad I could (eventually) help =P
Hahaha. What do you think now?
I like it now. I made a leveler deck, and I will let you know from experience, the Drake just doesn't perform as well as you want. I would put in 4 Hedron-field Purists in their place. They are abusively badass. Seriously.
Hmmm... played around with it... what does this look like?
Damn good. It has aggro in the places it needs it, and control (and obnoxious defense) with the Purists. I've had 3 out all max level once and it was total BS. Opponent: "I'll swing with an infinite number of 6/6's" Me: "Ok" Opponent: "I hate you"
The Purists are just amazing, I love them (but only if I draw them turn 3 or later). I think this deck proves that Leveler is not suited for competetive play, since this deck is awesome for a leveler and its not nearly competetive. As if the fact that there are only two creatures with level-up in competetive decks doesn't give it away.
yeah, for the most part. I have had some moments where I've seen a leveler deck go pretty quick and aggro...it was very similar to this one. still, that was a lucky break... Doesn't mean that levelers aren't frickin' fun as hell to use!
Of course not. It just means when I go to Opens I bring 4 Aggro decks :) RDW, Boros, Kuldotha Red, and Kuldotha RB/G. Also, I'm designing a tournament quality landramp deck... Current testing has given 35/50 games a Titan or Tanglewood by T5, and 19 of those times I have more than one. Yup :) I'm trying to decide if going GR for Koth and is worth it.... I'm thinking not. PS: My most epic win was T3 Titan, T4 Tanglewood, T5 Titan, T6 Swing with 2 Titans, one 8/8 trample, and 19 8/8 forests.
Tanglewood? Also, yeah don't splash R for Koth. Personally, I never thought current Ramp decks should use red. So what if Valakut is around?! You know how many cards are wasted in Valakut Ramp because of the front part of the title being "Valakut"? About 10. That's more than 15% of the deck. If I had my way, that dumb land would be a $0.10 card. -_- Sorry for the rant. tl;dr -- Don't use red in a ramp
Whoops. Meant Leige of Tanglecord
Also, don't go hating the Valakut Titan deck. Its actually good. I'll post my tourniment one so you can take a look. It's not my favorite (red-based aggro ftw), but it is a very competetive deck.
Anyone else got comments/suggestions?
Well, I have used Leech bonder+Paradise Mantle in my +1/+1, -1/-1 deck to move counters around. I haven't playtested though, so I don't know precisely how it works. You can see the deck here: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=129250
If that was meant as a legit idea, sorry, I play Standard only. If that was meant as asking for advice or advertising, just go ahead and be blunt. I get it all the time.
Sorry if I was coming on as advertising, that wasn't my intention -decklinking was only for referencing. I still haven't quite learned how the legality of types works, so apologies for being illegal. I do, however, believe that the idea of counter-moving in leveller-decks could be useful - ie with Fate Transfer.
That's cool man. In Standard, only the most recent core and block can be used, so right now its the Zendikar Block, M11, and SoM (soon to add MB)
