Deck discussion for UWR Painter's Spellbomb

well that's interesting, it's like batmans utility belt, only with combos.

Neat

Wow. I've never heard of this combo before but it's really interesting! My biggest questions though are is this deck fast enough to win? and why are there only 2 Salvagers when you have 4 Recruiter?

I've never piloted a deck even close to this honestly and it looks really neat, but I feel like some form of ramp, from some artifact seem almost necessary. Also, I love the Trinket Mage and could see a cool Trinket Package being great here. Maybe a 1-of Chalice of the Void to shut off certain decks. Also, I just have a hard time not seeing Force of Will in here, though I suppose if you don't run enough blue... Just some quick ideas. Any suggestions for my standard Aura deck? It's incredibly cheap to build and quite fun, but not meant to be overly competitive, just maybe for a night of FNM.

Oh, and for a sideboard, you could use the Red/Blue Elemental Blast cards that work great with Painter's Servant or just against heavy red/blue decks (like Goblins).

The two combo system works very well, since they use the same tutors. Salvager is a combo piece; I want exactly 1. This deck is pretty fast, t3-5 kills usually. I'm not sure what you mean about ramp... I have tomb, mox, and LDE! This deck isn't that competitive, but is definitely fun.

LED doesn't help ramp too much does it? I've always been confused on how to best use it, but it seems like in this deck you need to play your stuff first before being able to use it anyways... I did miss Tomb, so that certainly helps. Mox will never be active turn 1 or seldom will be which so it's still not that much faster really... Just my opinion.

LED helps ramp since it pays for grindstone activation and the other combo is GY based anyways.
