Deck discussion for Eldrazi Green

Ok, this deck NEEDS attention. I play on Magic-League and have been owning people with this deck all day. This deck is just amazing. I am loving tossing a vengevine with fauna shaman for another vengevine to toss next turn. Then drop the elves and BAM!

This deck also does NOT need Eldrazi Monument or Nissa to win. I havent gotten either the Monument nor her ultimate activated all day and still crush people.

Omnath is a god in this deck. By T5 he's a 10/10 or bigger, and he makes getting insane Genesis Waves (another card I havent drawn) and Wolfbriars easy

nothing better than ditching a vengine for a good ole fauna shaman, only having him to hit the field soon again.

this deck is pretty sick, man. im diggin the wolfbriars, that card is so underrated!

a card i always hate to see hit my opponents board is gaea's revenge though.
with an onmath you can drop them verrry quickly. you could try sideboarding them incase you're going against a heavy removal deck, or even just a fast deck in general.
it sucks when you think you got creature control covered, until you realize your doomblades don't do jack against him

Very nice call, thanks! Plus, with Fauna Shaman I only need one :)

The only downside to him is that his toughness is only five. :/
but still, he can end games quick.

and also you should check back to my prep for tezz deck, i left a comment for a new combo i can see coming out, and id love your opinion!

This deck is excellent, but I have some suggestions. First one being that I don't think you need 4 Fauna Shamans. They're obviously great, especially with Vengevine and with the speed of this deck (which is very impressive), but I just feel that 4 is too many.

My other suggestion is that you might want to just use 2 Genesis Waves, basically for the same reasons as with Fauna Shaman.

Your sideboard is nearly flawless, but I wonder why you have Acidic Slime in there?

All in all though, outstanding deck man.

Thanks :)

I like Fauna Shaman because she lets me grab the creatures I need in the situation, often allowing me to scoop the game (think of her as saying "top deck a creature of your choice"). Because of this, she is often an early burn target. I run 4 to ensure I draw her early and so that if one dies I have a decent shot at drawing another.

I love the waves. They are an amazing way to sink mana, and can easily end the game. Free Monument? 5 creatures? Thank you! I am considering dropping it for Green Sun's Zenith when MB comes out, but I am yet to finish testing on that (maybe

Acidic Slime is an amazing sb card for mono-green. He destroys Monuments, Tar Pits, Eyes, Temples, Valakuts, Masticores, Wurmcoils, and more.
