Deck Description

My personal favorite Standard deck, a black and red deck. Has a very synergetic assortment of vampires, pure vampires and spells that create killer combos.

How to Play

You have to get atleast three lands (black and red) to get this one to work from the start as majority of your drops are three. Set up Stromkirk Captain with Rakish Heir along with other vampires for the ultimate killer combo as they get first strike and plus one to other vampires (Stromkirk) and when they damage opponent they get plus 1/1 token! Very Fun deck to play

Deck discussion for Stromkirk's Wraith

Very nicely built! I'd love/hate to see it in action (depending on which side of the table I'm on). I'm a bit surprised you didn't put any Chosen of Markov in there though.

Thanks folks! @ ThousandEyedWatcher; I don't really like her cause she takes another vamp out of the fight.. I've tried her out not extensively but ended up taking her out for the reason above.

This deck look so good, it's actually really close to my vampire deck. To be fair, I would love to steal few cards from this to my own xD. Dreadbore is one sick card and more safe than Feast of Blood. I would also like few Blademasters and an extra aristocrat.

Sweet deck, vampires ftw!

I am kinda new to MTG i was wondering whe you play multiple Rakish Heirs.. for example you have two on the battle field so it's effect stack so rather gettin one 1/1 you put two 1/1 on all vampires? also does it count for its self too because its also a vampire..
Ps i have a vamp deck would be cool if you could check it out.. its the first one i have ever made so yeah any advice would be nice =) anyway i like this deck alot i aim to make one too when i get the cards to do so!

The effects stack, you would get 2 counters for every vampire that did damage to the opposing player, not to those vampires that where blocked or stopped some how from dealing their damage to opposing player. But I mainly included four rakish to increase the possibility of me drawing him early from my deck. BTW I am also new to the game (started this past august) but have had the chance to play over 500 games since, and have refined my gameplay accordingly. This is also my first vampire deck, I'm so glad folks like it! And yeah I can check out your deck.

Unfortunately, the bad thing about any creature based decks are a combo of Izzet Staticaster and Nightshade Peddler. Another painful hit would be a rakdos charm. You'd be dead in one fell swoop.

If you get the chance, I'm always looking for suggestions and criticism on my new decks. This time it's Bant Control Mill.
