Bloody Stake

Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (15 cards)

Enchantments (2)

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Aggro tokens with Blood Artist and Burn at the Stake backup. Its fast, its explosive, it can win out of nowhere or win through attrition. Thought about adding Sorin, Lord of Innistrad, but he was too slow...

How to Play

Ideally you curve out into Hellrider and win on turn four. When that doesn't happen you can punish them for wrath effects with Blood Artist or pump your army in a can with Intangible virtue. If they happen to wrath on turn four, you can play Lingering Souls with flashback on turn five and win with Burn at the Stake turn six. Have seven mana including 3 mountains and a plains and five life or less? If the opponent is at fifteen or less life a Gather the Townsfolk and a Burn at the Stake ends the game. The mana can be a little clunky if you're relying on Burn at the Stake, but the deck can be VERY fast.

Deck discussion for Bloody Stake

I like the concept of the deck. I've been looking for a Red/Black/White deck for a long time and also looked for a burn at the stake deck. This fits both bills and will only get better as Gatecrash comes out. It's fast and painful, only thing I could suggest is another sideboard rest in peace for those nasty zombie decks. Hopefully there comes to be a way to get around that stupid detention sphere...

Cool deck idea. If you don't get Burn at the Stake you'll at least have token aggro to keep pressure. Check out my Grixis Control deck
