Hmmmmm Not enough creatures you say. What about the ones stolen via Bolas, or the Sphinx? I dont think you need 4 cruel ultimatums. 3 is pushing it 4 is way too many. Think of it this way if you resolve one its a 10 life swing, two is a 20 life swing. It is painfully slow and a cascading deck will walk all over you when you see them bounce one of your comes into play taped lands cascade into bloodbraid cascade into another good card on turn 4 or 5! Thats a good 2 or 3 turns before you can cruel ultimatum or 3 or 4 turns before bolas. and if you did ahve bolas down guess which perminant is getting bounced. Not only that but when you look at a starting hand that contains a Cruel its pretty much a dead card early now think what happens when you look at a starting hand with 2 or 3 cruels in it. You're forced to mull even if you have 3 lands 3 cruels and ajani.

Personally I would add a couple bant charms. You'd be better off just turning this into a 5 cc.

Maybe throw in some volcanic fallout and the broodmate dragon elvish visionaries would help you chump block and keep a good amount of cards in hand. You really need to consider adding green. Jungle shrine seaside citidel and savage lands all help you out.

Dan, you talk too much. And hurricane's right, even with the sphinxes (2 of them) and the singular bolas, theres approximately 9 creatures in total. Honestly, I'm not even gonna go the Dan route and try to remake the deck in my head; to me, it's just a bunch of expensive cards put together in one too-many color deck with too many flaws. Not good enough, sorry.

The deck was originally 5 colors and I took our green to make it more streamlined. Removing green did wonders for the manna base, cutting down on the amount of triple-lands I had to play and increasing the amount of basics allowed me to consistently cast Path's and Terminates on turn 2 which sufficiently stopped early creatures long enough for an Infest to take control of the game. Adding any more triple lands is a bad idea. When you do that, then you're always drawing lands that come into play tapped and help you next turn when you might need the manna this turn. Unfortnently that rules out all of Dan's green suggestions.

As far as the Wall of Reverences go, those were the final cards on the chopping block. I think I'm going to remove them for Kathari Remnants. I didn't want to play Volcanic Fallout's because of the presence of Vedalkin Outlanders. Besides, I feel that the -2/-2 of infest is simply better than 2 damage.

To address pinemarten's point, this is a serious deck, not a budget deck. Expensive cards is a non-factor.
