'Tis the Jester's duty to remind the King, "My lord, you are but a simple man."My take on Elmer's Pox.
If the person across the table from you appears to want your head on a burning stake, congratulations, you have figured out how to play this deck.

I'm not sure what surprises me more, Sorin, Blood Artist, or that these things have become a bit of a pet project for the vault.

From what I gather (and from the experience of playing this deck) sorin is very good in Elmer's Pox. I think the most surprising is that this has become a pet project. I expected Arty to keep plugging away making his Pox, Stax, Stox, etc. decks...didn't expect so many others to do it too. Kinda cool =]
I think they became such a hit because they're quite enjoyable to pilot, without being exceedingly about winning like some decks. Certainly they win, and they do it with good regularity, but they're not at all like Storm; it's not simply a race to win, it's a game to play. And Sorin is quite good, I think honestly that's what surprises me the most. I never thought of sticking a walker in these designs, except maybe Liliana of the Veil.
I think it looks pretty darn nice. Awesome tech with Tutor + Ethersworn, thumps up! Sorin + Blood Artist is also a smooth move, bro. One question though, how has the 3-of Enlightened Tutor´s been working out for you? Are you missing a 4th or does it work the same?
The way that I have things set up, the only two cards I /really/ need ET for are Ghostly Prison and Blind Obedience. Truth be told I use the tutor for other things too, but having only those two truly needing its help alleviates a good deal of the pressure to have four. An additional thing to do with ET or any tutor for that matter is to not think of it as a separate card, but as additional copies of the cards it tutors for. As far as probability is concerned, this is essentially true. There are typically few situations that call for a full playset of ET, and I tend to design my decks so that I stray away from that anyway.
