This is a deck I plan to keep forever, hence the title. Although, the title also references the old "Keeper" deck style, which this will roughly adopt. It will be my end-all-Jack-of-the-trades multiplayer deck. The goal is to assemble a deck as versatile as possible, one that can adapt to anything and outlast everything. It should also be highlander, although I might do exceptions for lands. It will be blue, white and black for sure but I am open to splash the remaining colours in true 5cControl Keeper manner. So, playstyle will be heavily defensive, reactionary and adaptive. This means not much room for offense, so the kill will be delivered by single slower but hard to stop threats. The deck will probably be one of the most political decks ever, being able to influence the course of the game, where the main goal is to survive, survive, survive, because in the end, you'll have the tools to beat everything.

you might look into sheoldred and world queller, as cards that have lasting impact on board state each turn.

Well, I was asking for the most versatile cards you can think of. Something like Daxos which gives you access to cards outside of your deck each turn while dealing damage AND gaining life. Those are hard to find (unlike Insidious Will or Charms), hence my request. When you think about versatility, something that can be useful in countless situations, what pops up in your mind?
Hmm... Honestly, when I think of versatility, I think of removal. My suggestion of world queller comes as one of optional, repeatable and flexible removal. Also super political in nature now that I think about it. It can limit the board of any permanent type you choose. My personal favorite choices to limit are lands (particularly when used in a mana rock heavy deck or with crucible of worlds) and planeswalkers. As for flexibility and utility, I suppose the charm spells are very good. Personal favorites are midnight charm, dawn charm, Dromar's charm, and azorius charm. Flexible and useful in almost any situation.
What about Propaganda and/or Ghostly Prison and/or https://scryfall.com/card/inv/49/collective-restraint?
Maybe Teferi, hero of Dominaria as an upgrade for Dovin or Etherwrought Page: https://scryfall.com/card/dom/207/teferi-hero-of-dominaria
You guys won, I eliminated the Etherwroght Page and added Mimic Vat instead, which gives me options to create all kinds of creatures
Dang, it's only been 5 years.
What's five years when you have kids and stuff ... slowly getting back into Magic beyond buying some cards here and there.
True, true. :D
