This deck is build around Searing Meditation and to lesser extent around it's interaction with Tamanoa (see how to play). As always, this is mainly for multiplayer pentagram or 2vs2vs2 games, sometimes 2vs2 team. Metagame consist on casual but well constructed vintage format decks. Cards in the sideboard are cards I consider adding. What I need:I don't have any library manipulation yet and nothing to get back the Meditation when it gets destroyed. I could add Sterling Grove ... again ... which I don't want this time. I also ran out of Elightened Tutors.Next potential problem is that I run low on creatures, but this may turn out to be okay. But it would be great if I had another creature that helps me out winning if the Meditations can't finish the job for whatever reason.I consider to add Upwelling which would allow me to float Turbine mana for later use on Meditation. But I will wait for the first time I play this and then make that call (also, I don't own an Upwelling currently) .You don't need to comment on the mana base unless I missed a non-basic with special abilities that fit the theme. I will probably add painlands so that I can convert that damage to lifegain via Sun Droplets.
Searing Meditation lets me deal damage whenever I gain life, that's why this is full of little lifegainers. Searing Meditation needs colourless mana to operate, so the best lifegain is one that comes automatically. I run 4 Thran Turbines to power the Meditation, problem is that I can only use the mana during upkeep, that's why I focussed on passive lifegainers that trigger during upkeep.Tamanoa gives me life whenever I deal damage, so this is an infinite damage loop with Meditation until I run out of mana. That's why you should save Scars of the Veteran for Tamanoa. Reknit, however, should be saved for Searing Mediation.Especially in multiplayer, try to not attack much. Attacking puts your creatures at risk, especially spotremoval that would otherwise go elsewhere. You don't need to attack in order to win.

Ty, most of my decks are. Why create a deck that has been there dozens of times? There are so many cards to combine, I really don't understand why people play the same tribal decks or latest block mechanic over and over. But that's another story.Any suggestions for the deck? I still feel I missed something.
that white creature that says when you have 40 or more life you win. other than that it looks solid.
It's already in there at one copy. I hate "I-win"-cards, so I want to limit it to one (I wouldn't play it at all if it wasn't for my buddies utilizing all kinds of ridiculous cards recently)
sure is. missed that. you thought of everything.
What about a couple sol rings to help it out ? Made some updates and a question on my deck i dare you to play that land
scars of the veteran. hell yes. i want!!!
Crackling perimeter be fun with gates
Yes, but I don't have Gates? And Sol Ring is restricted, that's why I run only one of them.
you could use ajani's mantra
I have Nyx-Fleece Ram which does the same, costs the same but can also be used to block creatures.
oh right. how silly of me.
Well, sometimes it can be a disadvantage to be a creature as well because that means it can be killed more easily, so your suggestion isn't *that* silly.I made this deck before Theros block and added the Rams later because I felt I needed more blockers, they haven't seen action since, so it's hard to say.
yeah the rams are pretty good cards.
Tamanoa and Searing Meditation is a beast together!!Nice. As always, your mana base is damn solid. +1Sorry I missed this one.
Mana base isn't as solid as you think - it's just that I play most of the decks I post here IRL and thus have to distribute my duals and other non-basics among them. The deck has changed meanwhile a bit, for example I now have some City of Brass in the mix, I can use them to get counters on Sun Droplet so that I gain life and get the Meditation rolling.Personally I like this deck a lot because although it features a combo, the combo isn't infinite. In best case I can deal as much damage as I have mana every turn, that should be fair, especially considering how comfortable players are these days to fling Coffer-powered Exsanguinates in multiplayer and similar things.
Yes, I put the City of Brass in my Searing Meditation deck too. Good stuff.
