Inspired greatly by unexpected_manaburn's deck in progress, spoiled soil (http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=366560). In fact, this basically is that deck only completed, and presumable with a few changes based on our differing playstyles. Advice is appreciated. For those of you who come from Reddit (if any): Thanks in advance for any advice you may offer. The primary goal here is to make a fun deck. I won't be playing it in any tournaments as I'll be proxying everything (hooray for printers!), however I won't include any power 9 cards, or generally anything that's 100$ for a single. Advice is, again, appreciated and I look forward to making an ok deck great.

Apparently eight islands will cost me at least 38 dollars, and four swamps at least 11.

Oh right...Unhinged basic lands would cost more. Always good to have life's little mysteries explained.
wohaaa that was kinda quick, thanks for the input. gulf squid was on my list, mana short is genius. I'm busy over the weekend so I don't know if I have enough time to work further on the deck. I'm intrigued what my deck will look like when I'm finished now that I've seen yours
Based on my playtests: strong against combo, stronger than you'd think against several creature-based, and other stuff like that. Issues mostly involve: lack of spot removal, board wipe, dealing with mana-ramp or high mana decks (koth, green ramp, etc.).
I came up with a pretty solid card to force the opponent to tap the lands with the enchantments. MANA WEB, so basically I only need the 12 land enchantment and 4 Mana Web. the rest of the deck I built around those to increase the efficiency. disruptive student is nice, probably even better than gulf squid. aaaaah there are so many ways to make this concept work...really difficult I wanna keep it to 60 cards which proves to be almost impossible considering the useful cards.
I know right? I just want to put everything in and not have to worry about card draw!
I thought about rhystic study for drawing^^

Wow nice find! So much for not proxying this deck eventually, though. Worth it, definitely worth it.
I always liked this concept but haven't tried one yet. Maybe a goal for this weekend
