Deck Description

This is another version of Infertile Lands http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=367469 where I'm going for the merfolk approach rather than the more controlling approach. The main wincon is now a combination of the original and islandwalk swinging. This version has
* less control
* more aggressive
* more creature-based
Thanks in advance for any advice, I know this deck needs a lot of work. If you have anything to say about it, please also check out the other version and comment on that.

Deck discussion for Infertile Alternative Lands [advice appreciated]

I really enjoyed looking at this deck. I was hesitant when I saw the tribal stuff, but the merfolk work very smooth with this strategy. Spreading seas really bridges the gap between the spell and creature strats nicely. Merrow Commerce provides a great hit n run style attack/defense and with islandwalk that gets nasty. Spreading Seas and Silvergill Adept give you just enough draw. Merrow Reejerey is just perfect. The only thing I see that doesnt feel quiet right is Treachery. Even though its pretty much a free spell it seams kinda slow in this deck. By turn five with the balanced control/aggro strategy of this deck it should be close to over if not already finished. Maybe replace Treachery with some tutors to speed up pulling Spreading Seas and Merrow Commerce, or whichever merfolk is right for the situation. This deck is much smoother and more balanced than your version#1 in my opinion. Good job. Thanks for viewing my deck as well and feel free to look over the other decks I've worked on if you like. I love feedback and will see if I have any ideas for your other decks.
