this deck is all about manabase control. you get lots of land to work with and your opponent does not. lure your opponent into an expensive play and then deny it, leaving their mana tapped out under the orb. then you've got pretty much free reign to do what you want. the living tsunami lets you recycle tapped lands with exploration. so does gush. very handy. quirion dryad builds up over the course of the game. every spell you cast (apart from exploration) gives it +1/+1 which is immense if you're casting counterspells and draw to gain advantage over your opponent that way. tactics: drop a dryad and then spend all further counterspells defending the dryad at all costs. you gain incremental advantage every time you counter an opponent's spell because their lands become useless. boomerangs are there for planeswalkers/lands/troublesome creatures. turn two boomerang on the play is still just about the most broken thing you can do. good times.
