the idea here is to mix the power of tinker with the power of board wipe and board control. here are the main cards Tinker Scourglass Balance Open the Vaults masticore there's a suite of finishers to gain control of the board. you only need one or two of each because of tinker. darksteel colossus inkwell leviathan platinum angel magma mine wipe the board repeatedly with balance and scourglass. tinker for the finishers, or for metalworker or scourglass if you need to (tinker for scourglass is a cheap way to disarm your opponent). get some card draw into play, stick down a metalworker and then go nuts with a masticore. magma mine is a tinker-target if you come accross something tricky or just need to push through some extra damage with metalworker. over a couple of turns you can ramp up a big numbers with a hand full of artifacts and a metalworker in play. Open the vaults is an alternate finisher or board controlling card. resolve it mid-game (assuming you've got some artifacts in your graveyard such as scourglass and elsewhere flask) and you've basically won. when elsewhere flask comes back into play from OtV, you draw a card. neat interaction. perplex is there either as a counterspell (nice redundancy with balance) or to transmute for tinker.
