Deck Description

i haven't been able to find a green-white infect deck, and as far as i can tell, it's a really strong combination.

bear in mind this is made from cards i could find in my box. please just see it for what it is, and observe the combination of cheap white removal, ajani goldmane and infect creatures. kor skyfisher allows you to bounce putrefax, corpse cur and other stuff. also makes a good blocker. also bounces sylvan ranger which is nice.

there's lots of redundancy here (many of the 1x spells do the same thing) so the overall effect is pretty consistent.

vines of vastwood makes for a versatile combat trick. at a pinch, you can play it on opponent's creatures to stop them pumping their own creatures. otherwise it makes a good poison pumper.

nonbasic lands are there to stall your opponent's creatures.

check it out. it's not optimized (obviously) but it has really strong matchups. i'm surprised nobody has used white and green with infect before.

Deck discussion for the first G/W infect deck!

The combo with Kor Skyfisher and Putrefax or Corpse Cur looks really good. There are a few things I would change in this deck however...
With this deck, you're trying to stop your opponents from attacking you and blocking your infect creatures. This is a great idea, but your lacking creatures with infect. Blight Mamba for instance. It's a great card, that's why I wonder why it's in here just once. It's the same with Putrefax and Corpse Cur.
I would also like to suggest getting 4 panic spellbombs and 4 Tumble Magnets in this deck. It's a great card to get rid of any creatures that are preventing your victory.

If you think this deck needed to speed up more, try Giant Growth. They'll be suprised when a 1/1 that they let past their defences inflicts 4 poison damage (or more, depending on how many giant growth you can play at that moment).

If you want to, you could check my infect deck. It's not finished yet, but maybe you'll see cards you'll like ;) .

you are exactly right about not having enough of certain cards, but if you'd read the description, you'd see that i made the deck from a bunch of cards i had lying around.

i'm working on making a "proper" optimized version in the next week or so. then we'll see how it works.

i prefer vines of vastwood to giant growth, because it also functions as a "counterspell" effect to protect your creatures, and also can be played on opponent's creatures to prevent them from pumping their own stuff.

otherwise yeah. i can't wait to get this thing rolling. it's going to be a beast of a deck. tumble magnet is pretty incredible in a build like this (and panic spellbomb as well)
