The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...
Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
the idea here is to combine very strong mana ramping into large game-swinging spells quite early in the game. necropotence mixes well with the mana spells to create potentially game-winning draws for the cost of only a few life. consume spirit could be substituted for exsanguinate in multiplayer..... for a truly powerful game-winning bomb. nirkana revenant is an experiment. i think she's got serious potential in a deck like this, so i put her in there. temporal extortion (especially in multiples) either does crippling damage or gives you an extra turn, which works with necropotence so unbelievably well i can't believe more people don't use the two together. lets see how this deck fares. =).

got something there, I run a standard deck with Nirkana Reverent, she can be good my deck is below http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=82810 Take out Drain Life, Consume Spirit is hands down better I never found Promise of Power all that good and you need more bodies, I'd use Korlash Heir to the Blackblade he's powerful can regenerate and has a mana ramp ability I don't know if I like Necropotence

"I don't know if I like Necropotence" lol it's pretty much the most powerful black spell ever printed. if you don't like it that's fair enough but it's been singly responsible for more tournament wins than any other black card. promise of power could feasibly be taken out with the inclusion of necropotence (it wasn't originally in the deck and i needed card draw), and then i would indeed add korlash (who was originally there in the first place). consume spirit is indeed better although i wasn't aware of the difference until i checked just now. lol.
ah. turns out you were looking at an incomplete version of the deck! something went wrong when i was editing it earlier and it only posted 36 out of 60 cards...... i've added the rest that were supposed to be there and you can see it's much stronger as a complete deck, lol.
